Very Economical Race Car

A mod-lite is an excellent starter class that provides all aspects of larger cars.
They have the 3 bar rear end and most teams use the 7th Winners Quick Change ( AKA Baby grand QC)
It is also a very economical 5/8 scale UMP modified racecar. What makes it economical? Here are just a few things:
■ Oil changes
■ Tires - Hoosier and American Racers, Approx. $160.00 each
The right rear last up to 4 to 5 races. The other corners 10 - 12 races.
■ Fuel - Cars run on 89 pump gas to racing fuel

Engines

The engine for the Mod-Lite is a 1000cc sport bike motor. Quick off the line and fun.
Examples:
         • ZX-10
         • CBR 1000
         • GSXR 1000
         • R-1

Motors can be purchased on EBAY Starting at approximately $1,500.
Stock class will allow little to no changes to the motor.

Shocks

The best shock for the Mod-Lite is the steel bodied, non-adjustable BSB, Bilstein shocks with a starting price of $100.00 each.
