Mod-Lites struggled during practice with the 93 EcoAdvantage car driven by Donovan Jackson had taken a nasty roll taking the 93 car out. Scott Patterson was hung up on the wall after the Mission 22 Mod-Lite car's throttle stuck and ending the night.
That didn't stop the Mod-Lites with Donovan Jackson coming back in the 17 EcoAdvantage car for an exhilarating race!
Good clean fun racing right here with a surprise twist!
Mason Ford of the 4M makes his first race with Carolina Mod-Lites since 2022 and shows his skills.
Carolina Mod Lites Club showed up with a great night of racing.
Another great night of racing for the Carolina Modlites Club!
The EcoAdvantage team took top 2 spots with Donovan, of the 93, taking the checkered. But not without great effort from other teams.
Troy Van Allen surely made sure the leaders knew he was there and took home 3rd while Jj Williams skillfully made his way from 9th position to take 4th. Steven Dunn took 7th after getting turned around in the last lap. And how can we not mention Zach Blackwell was back on the track with us rounding out the top 5!
Due to technical difficulties, the first couple laps were missed on this video.
Steve Dunn in the 11 took a commanding lead early in the race and kept it that way for the laps to follow! JJ Williams of the 8 car took the number 2 spot and Troy Van Allen of the 2X will round out the top 3.
For the Carolina Modlites Club feature event we were able to welcome back 93 Donovan Jackson this evening who ultimately took the checkered flag.
Josh Foster made his first race with the Mod-Lites behind the wheel of the 42, and a fantastic job he did! We look forward to seeing you in future races.
Richie Young of the 76 got the yellow flag in lap 8 with a broken front end but quickly fixed it and was back on the track.
Lap 12 was cautioned with a spinout between 3 and 4.
After that it was clear sailing and great racing.
Donovan Jackson taking the checkered. Followed by Steven Dunn of the 11 car in second place. Third went to Chuck Jackson in the 17. The 8 of JJ Williams took 4th. Rounding out the top 5 with Richie Young in the 76.
Thanks to all of our drivers that show great professionalism and love of the sport to make each race a great one.
A good night of clean racing. Watch this green flag racing to see how it's done.
Another great night of racing!
These drivers get you hooked from the beginning.
Mason Ford of the 4M, Troy Van Allen of the 2X, Donovan Jackson of the 93, and Richie Young of the 76 started the first 2 rows of the pack of 9 cars tonight. Mason kept Donovan and Troy at bay until the 8 of JJ Williams made contact with Izral Daniels in the 12 which also caused George Chason 271 to spin in the first caution of the night in lap 3.
At the restart, Donovan Jackson made contact with the leader and spun coming out of turn 2 to bring out the second yellow flag. He restarted at the back of the field but skillfully made his way back to second place.
Lap 7 brought the next caution with George Chason to spin coming out of turn 7.
Then it was green flag racing to the end. Mason Ford taking the victory, followed by Donovan Jackson and Troy Van Allen rounding out the top 3.
Next race scheduled for 7/22/23 at Lake View Speedway. We'll see you there for more fun and excitement!
What a night! Great track to race and a great team we have. A little bit of a rough start with #16 Tim white and #2x of Troy Van Allen getting in to each other. With the fresh restart and 3 cautions Tim White lead all the laps with the 2X of Troy Van Allen chasing him. #11 of Steven Dunn will round out the top 3. Ultimately #16 of Tim White took home the trophy. Nice race all!
Also, a much needed thank you to the staff/crew at East Lincoln Motor Speedway . Everyone there was an absolute pleasure to work with and made it feel like home. Thank you for all you did for us. We appreciate it and hope to see you again soon.
This weekend we traveled to Seaford, DE to race with a great group of Mod-Lite drivers.
The #80 of Dylan Evans led the race until the 2nd caution of the night where the #16 of Tim White took the lead and held the position to take the win.

It was a battle between 17 of Chuck Jackson and 93 of Donovan Jackson with the 2x of Troy Van Allen following close on their heels.
First caution of the night was due to a spin between turns 1 and 2 from the 42 of Josh foster. At the restart Donovan took the lead and clear sailing for the remainder of the race. Congratulations Donovan! Mighty fine racing there.

What a fun, successful and yet nail biting event. Tonight, we had 10 Topless cars and 2 topped cars out for our Breast Cancer Awareness Race. 3 of which was their second or third night racing with the Mod-Lites (29- Steve Murray Jr, 50- Thomas Brown, 30- Scott Davis). Man, did they put on a show.
Unfortunately, the heat race had taken out 12 Iral Daniels in an accident where 8 JJ Williams spun and Izral hit him, went airborne and rolled, also causing 271 George Chason to hit the wall. 8 JJ Williams and 271 George Chason were able to get back out for the feature but not 12 Izral.
17B Zach Blackwell led most of the race but he had to pull off during a caution due to mechanical issues. This gave 11 Steve Dunn the lead where he finished!
Johnnie Johnson of EcoAdvantage Pest Control donated $100 to the first place topless driver (11- Steve Dunn) and $75 to the hard charger(8- JJ Williams) of the race.
Our 50/50 winnings and BCA donations went to Reecha Dixon to help with her treatments for Brest Cancer.
Thanks to all of Rockfish Speedway's crew and fans for supporting our event.

You gotta love Lake View Motor Speedway . Their staff and crew are very helpful and accommodating.
It was a great night. George Chason came to race in the 27 tonight instead of the 271. Unfortunately, due to engine trouble, he did not make it past the practice laps.
That left 7 cars for the main event. #93 Donovan Jackson took the lead for the first 6 laps where #4m Mason Ford took the lead for the remainder of the race.
#76 Richie Young held on to 4th place for the whole race until the last lap where something in the steering went out and he ended in the berm between turns 3 and 4.
Only 2 yellow flag cautions throughout the night and the 15 lap feature came to an end with #4 M of Mason Ford taking home the victory, #93 of Donovan Jackson in second, and #17 Chuck Jackson rounding out the top 3!
Congratulations! We'll be back here 11/18.

1st yellow flag caution was brought out with 95 Angel Rivera in the wall on lap 3.
2nd yellow flag brought out with 30 Scott Davis Jr in lap 12
On restart, 115 Kurtis Whitney got turned in to the wall.
Lap 16 was a spin out.
Lap 18 yellow flag caution with 8 of JJ Williams in the wall.
Quick caution with an infield spin and back then the restart gone bad. 23R of David Simonson rolled bringing out the red flag caution.
All drivers are ok.
